Thunder roars, emerging from the slumbering earth to herald the spring. It is the awakening of a joyful, contagious energy that sweeps away inertia. True enthusiasm (from the Greek *en-theos*, having God within) is a unifying force. It enables the uplifting of crowds (or armies) without coercion, through the pure resonance of a shared vision.

Jung perceived in this emotion the powerful activation of an archetype. Allow yourself to be carried by this vital impulse; it is the engine of your creative evolution. Do not let cynicism or cold rationality extinguish this joyful fire.
