"The unfathomable doubled. If you are sincere, you achieve success in your heart, and what you do succeeds."
Water above Water. It is the abyss, the profound danger, the canyon whose depths remain unseen. Water never halts before the void; it plunges into it and continues to flow until it finds the ocean. In the face of extreme danger, fear paralyzes and destroys. Only total sincerity and absolute trust in the flow of life will allow you to navigate the rapids without drowning.

Water teaches by example: it remains true to its nature (flowing downward) regardless of the daunting circumstances of its journey.
It is the initiatory descent into the underworld (the Nekyia). You are compelled to plunge into the abyss of the Unconscious, confronting your greatest terrors or a devastating grief. The Ego panics as it finds no anchor. The oracle's counsel: do not struggle against the current. Let go. Allow the pain or fear to pass through you without clinging to the edges of the chasm. The truth of your soul (the light at the center of the water) will be your sole compass.
It is the traversal of the Event Horizon of a Black Hole. The reassuring laws of classical physics collapse. If you attempt to resist, gravity (destiny) will rend you asunder. By surrendering to the Singularity, you enter a dimension where time and space are redefined. Extreme danger is the gateway to an unsuspected reality.
