"The breakthrough. One must resolutely make the matter known at the king's court. It must be proclaimed according to the truth. Danger. One must warn one's own city. It is not advantageous to take up arms. It is advantageous to undertake something."
Five powerful Yang lines push a single Yin line towards expulsion. The Shadow, corruption, or error is on the verge of being definitively banished. Yet the final blow is delicate. Violence (arms) must not be used, for violence corrupts the just. One must simply denounce the Shadow to the light, publicly and firmly. Pure truth suffices to dissolve the malevolent.
"The lake has risen to the heavens: the image of the breakthrough. Thus the noble man dispenses wealth downward and refrains from resting upon his virtue."
The water of the lake ascends into the heavens to fall back as nourishing rain. The act of severing the Shadow must serve to liberate energy for all, not to flatter one's own ego.
